Can’t proceed after setup step 4

Bug Description

When you reach step 4 in the initial setup, this fails and shows the error below in the image in Console.

Steps to reproduce

1. Go to Site Kit –> Dashboard
2. Follow steps
3. Open F12
4. See error on step 4

Additional Context

• PHP Version: 7.3
• OS: Windows 10
• Browser: Firefox 70
• Plugin Version: 1.0.0-rc.1
• Device: Asus Vivobook Pro 17 N705UD

User3: Thanks for the details. We’ve just released version 1.0.0 in the plugin repository. Could you try that version and go through the setup process?

User4: I’ve tried to disable, delete, and then reinstall the plugin, but when I finish the setup, there is a second error in the console.

User4: I’ve disabled, deleted cache, installed, disabled cache, and then went to Site Kit –> Dashboard. Note that I’ve installed it on another WP site and it works.

User3: Thanks for the info. It may be something about this particular website that is causing the issue. Are you using different plugins here? Is the site in a place where you can safely temporarily deactivate plugins (or if you have a staging version of the site) and try going through the setup process to see if there is a conflict there?

User4: @User3, setup completed successfully without plugins! This issue was caused by Material WP 1.0.6. I think I can close this as the problem has been solved.
