Uvaraj’s story began with a modest textile shop in his family. However, he faced unexpected challenges when he ventured into a lottery shop and lotteries were later banned. Undeterred by setbacks, Uvaraj tried his hand at an aquarium business but faced skepticism from those around him.

It was the launch of mobile phones by Reliance that ignited Uvaraj’s entrepreneurial spirit. With relentless zeal, he embarked on a mission to understand the mobile industry, even pursuing a course in mobile repair. Armed with just 2 lakhs borrowed from others, Uvaraj founded Poorvika in 2004, naming it after his beloved daughter.
