To use the advanced claim listing feature, you can purchase and install the WP Job Manager – Claim Listing plugin. This plugin allows you to charge a fee to listing owners who want to claim their listing. Payment can be made either as a one-time fee or through a subscription plan if you have the WooCommerce Subscriptions plugin installed.

Once payment is made, the site admin can view incoming claims on a new admin screen under “Listings > Claims”. From there, the admin can set the status of the claim to Approved, Pending, Verifying, or Declined.

There are several settings available in the plugin’s settings panel, located at “Listings > Settings > Claim Listing”. Below are some of the options:

1. Allow listing owners to be charged a fee: If this option is unchecked, listing owners will not be charged a fee to claim their listing.
2. Select the pricing package: You can choose the pricing package that the listing owner will be charged when they click the “Claim Listing” button. This uses the same packages you created using the Listing Payments plugin. Select the package using the “Product” option dropdown.
3. Choose the current status for a claim: When a claim is entered into the system, you can select the current status from the “Check Order On” dropdown. The available statuses are Processing, On Hold, Cancelled, Refunded, Failed, or Completed.

Once a claim is marked as “Completed”, the listing will be considered claimed and verified.
